Hello! I am Judith Jamison, the breeder behind Ben and Jerry Doodles located in Charlotte, NC.
My passion for dogs comes from me being raised around dogs. Consequently, dogs have always been family to me. It's just something about a dog's unconditional love and loyalty that I cannot get enough of! Therefore, my motto is: Love is a four-legged word!! And since I work from home, I have all the time in the world to reciprocate all the love my furbabies give!
HOW I GOT INTO BREEDING
I was looking for another puppy and one day when I was jogging, I literally bumped into a guy with this BEAUTIFUL and INTELLIGENT dog! After pleasantries we went our separate ways but afterwards, I wasn't even able to finish my jog after being so star-struck and intrigued on my first encounter with a Goldendoodle. I was bit by the Doodle Bug!

So afterwards, while looking for a Goldendoodle pup in our area, all the breeders we found seemed to either value litter profits over the well-being of their dogs, weren't very informed or educated in health and genetic testing, or they simply over charged for puppies because they were educated. Since we could not find the perfect Doodle breeder, we decided to become the perfect Doodle breeder. This was the beginning of our years long of education and research into everything Doodle.
WHAT MAKES OUR BREEDING PROGRAM SPECIAL
At Ben and Jerry Doodles we invest the same amount of science, as love, into our breeding program to produce the ideal Goldendoodle, Bernedoodle, and Poodle. The primary concern of our breeding program is the health, temperament, and conformation of our dogs so they live long and happy lives! Our puppies are well-adjusted to a home environment and socialized with children and other dogs. All our puppies love people and interaction because they are handled and loved on daily. To ensure our puppies are emotionally ready to be grafted into their new homes we expose our puppies to people, kids, strangers, adult dogs, toys, games, a variety of sounds and noises, car rides, and even our sprinkler system!
