Facts about the F1, F1b
When looking for a Doodle, the letters F1, F1B, etc. will appear frequently. These letters denote the generation of the cross between the two parent dogs. One of the biggest reasons for the recent "Doodle Craze" is that properly bred doodles are non-shedding, hypo allgenic, and intellegent. But at Ben & Jerry Doodles we give you even more than that when you adopt from us. Becasue every parent dog we breed has had stringent health and genetic tests before ever being bred, you can be assured a Ben and Jerry Doodle will live a longer, healthier, happier, and hearteier life than ever thier purebred parents/ancestors.
CROSSING OF THE F1
F1 dogs are offspring of a purebred dog and a mixed breed. Some examples of F1 mixed breeds include Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles, which are both crosses of the Standard Poodle, respectively. The strongest hybrids, according to some, are those from the first generation of crosses.
THE CROSS BACK
A F1B, Goldendoodle is a first-generation crossback between a F1 Goldendoodle and a Standard Poodle.
