COLORS AND FLAVORS OF BEN & JERRY PUPPIES

BECAUSE OUR PUPS COME IN MORE COLORS
THAN YOU MIGHT THINK!

Poodles and Doodles are available in a wide range of colors and patterns.

In a Goldendoodle, the cream, apricot, and red coloration can be traced back to the Golden Retriever's ancestors. In Bernedoodles, the Bernese Mountain Dogs contribute the Tri color and Phantom patterns. Poodles come in black, chocolate, brown, silver, and gray pigments and contribute those colors as well as the following color patterns to any Doodle breedings.

Doodles come in a wide range of patterns, including parti, merle, phantom, and brindle, (or a combination of any of these colors or patterns) all of which were contributed by the Poodle.

A parti is when there is at least 50% white on the coat.

A merle is a very striking pattern in the coat (which actually is a fading gene) that gives a normal black/brown coat a light/dark effect that appears as different shades of grey/tan.

Phantoms have distinctive shades of tan above each eye, on the nose, inside the legs, and under the tail, similar to a Doberman.

A tri is similar to a phantom except adds white for a total of three colors (black or brown, tan, and white).

The hue and width of a dog's brindle pattern vary from one to the next.

Here are a few examples of different coat patterns.
